Now Mr. Bush’s advisers are openly deriding what they call “Rubinomics.” Gone is any talk of paying off the national debt or leaving untouched the temporary surplus being generated by Social Security, both staples of the Clinton policy.

It really sucks that I know who reads my site. There is so much going on right now I could write about but I can’t for fear the wrong person might read it.
Damn! It’s crazy when politics is a safer topic then things happening around me.

The Democrats are trying to figure out what went wrong. Are they too liberal or not liberal enough? Send them your opinion!

I’m so disappointed in the Democrats this year. You would think with the horrible economy among other issues that they would have been able to at the very least retain control of the Senate. I have discussed this with a few people and they all say the same thing. They just didn’t campaign hard enough on the right issues. We really don’t have a strong leader in the Democratic party. Tom Daschle, Tom Harkin, Joe Biden, Joe Lieberman, Richard Gephardt, and even Hillary Clinton all rolled over for the Republicans. None of them had the nerve to take a stand against Iraq. If the Democrats want to win an election, they need to prove there is a real difference between Democrats and Republicans. Because of their spineless actions we are left silenced. Bush and his cronies have 2 years to push their Republican agenda. The Democrats have their work cut out for them. In the next two years, they need to find a real Democrat to lead this nation otherwise all will be lost. In the meantime, we have to make the effort to make our voices heard. Write letters to your Senators and Representative. Tell George Bush though he may have control of both Houses he doesn’t have a blank check to destroy our country. Most of all we need to keep talking about the issues. Don’t let people forget there are problems at home that need to be addressed.

Sadly, I’m not that shocked. I seen it coming. The Dems did it to themselves. They didn’t fight as hard as they should have. I have more to say but I’m babysitting so I must attend to young Cade!
