Ugh-my frustration level is at an all time high. We would like to sell our house this spring so we contacted our beloved realtor and started looking into the process. We are kind of in a time crunch because they are ripping up our street this summer so we’d like to be out before then plus who would want to look at a house when the street is all tore up. We are being assessed about $8000 for the construction and come to find out that is most cases the banks will not allow the assessment to be transferred to the buyer. So we would have to pay $8000 for something we would never use. Another thing is that the housing market out here sucks. So we are thinking we are going to have to put the big move on shelf for at least a year if not two depending on the market next year. So I let the realtor know that we are rethinking our options and will probably not sell this year. She comes back saying she still might be able to do something for us and she is putting some numbers together. I just want to know what’s going on. I was really hoping to have this resolved this week but it’s not looking too good.

Cade is just fine. He doesn’t have Celiac Disease! The doctor thinks it’s acid reflux. That is such good news. The wheat allergy is so crazy and so restrictive so I’m happy Cade won’t have to deal with it. Tracy said he was a brave little boy. He didn’t cry or fuss at all. I’m so proud of him. The doctor even said he didn’t think Cade had failure to thrive. He said Cade’s just small. This is such great news. I still feel bad for him having to go through it all but at least the results turned out better than we had anticipated!

My nephew has to go in for surgery today. The doctors think he may have Celiac Disease which in short means he could be allergic to wheat. They have to take a a sample of his small intestine to see if there is any damage and then I guess they’ll know if he has it or not. Cade is so small and it’s so hard to think about him having to go through this. Tracy feels guilty as if somehow she caused it. I’ve tried to reassure it that it’s nothing she did but it doesn’t help much. I just feel so bad for them. I know things could be worse but it’s still so hard to see little Cade having to deal with the doctors and everything else. The surgery is at 12:30 and it takes about an hours so I hope to hear something by 2 or 3.
