Today is our 8 year wedding anniversary. Crazy…I can’t believe we’ve been married for 8 years. But then again sometimes it feels like forever though not in a bad way. I recently found out that one of my sisters thinks I am pathetic for having married so young. I also found out awhile ago that my mother thinks Ben and I are the most likely to be divorced. I feel so sad that my family would think such things. I can’t even begin to explain how pissed, hurt and shocked I am by their statements. Sometimes family sucks!
We anyway HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!!
Things just keep getting crazier:

then…

Tie vote by Ethics Committee favors Lindner
a ray of light?

I’ve decided not to take any classes over the summer. I was planning to take 4 classes in order to graduate a year earlier but I think it will be too much for me and the kids. I would have to miss Jaycie’s preschool graduation, all her kindergarten activities, and all the fun of a carefree summer. There are so many things I would have to miss in order to take the classes that it just doesn’t seem worth it.
The whole kindergarten thing is so freaky! She seems too small to have to ride the bus. The kindergarten classes run all day every other day so she will also be eating lunch at school. That is so weird too! She will have to memorize a pin number in order to access her lunch money which scary. It seems like such a big responsibility for a 5 year old. It took us months just to get her to remember her phone number and address. Hopefully, it’s an easy number or that the teachers will have access so that if she doesn’t remember they can help her or something. We get to go have lunch at the elementary school at the end of May. She also gets bus ride that day. She says she excited and a little nervous. I’m sure she’ll do fine. She loves preschool so much. I think I’m the one who is freaking out. Ugh…sometimes it so hard to let go.

To do something about it register for TrueMajority.
Here is an interesting article by Tim Robbins about the war and the way anti-war protesters and any one else who questions the almighty Bush are being shunned.
The Nation: A Bully Can be Stopped
MN law now requires a 24 hour waiting period before a woman can have an abortion. Besides requiring the doctors to tell the patient the risks associated with having an abortion, it requires doctors to tell the patient the fetus may feel pain even if the doctor doesn’t believe this is true. The bill also changes the definition of an unborn child to the MOMENT of fertilization to birth. This is unbelievable. The saddest thing is the MN Senate has a Democratic majority and the bill, which was attached to a circus bill, passed 41-24. Sick!!! Canada is looking better and better everyday!!!!
