Ben and I went to the open house for Wellstone Action tonight. It was amazing to see all the people there. They were selling old campaign stuff plus new Wellstone Action t-shirts. They also had buttons that said “What would Paul do?” I got a t-shirt, button and bumpersticker but I’m hoping they’ll be at the State Fair so I can buy more stuff! They weren’t sure if they would be able to get enough volunteers for the Fair but hopefully they will be able to! I was so happy to be surrounded by all those people who believed in Paul and everything he stood for!
There were some people wearing Kucinich for President t-shirts but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere.
I think I am beginning to get into full campaign mode! Still over a year to go! I want Shrub out of the White House before he does any further damage!!!!

How low can these people go before people start seeing their true colors? It’s just sick. It’s one thing to attack a living person but this is just repulsive. Don’t they think about his family at all!!!!

More construction craziness

Here’s a good one for you:
One of the construction workers pissed in the street right in front of our house!!! He had his back to us and his truck door was open but we could see clearly what he was doing. How is that appropriate behavior? Ben, Tiff and the kids found in quite amusing! I on the other hand am horrified. This is our street, my kids might accidentally step in it! It’s just gross!!!

Here’s an interesting item a friend of mine passed on to me.

Minnesota Statute 216B.169, Renewable and High Efficiency Energy Rate Options, requires all electric utilities serving customers in Minnesota to implement this type of program.

For more information here are some links to some of MN Energy Companies:

X-Cel Energy

Connexus Energy

Dakota Electric

Shakopee Public Utilities

Hutchinson Utilities Commission

More links can be found at Minnesotans for an Energy Efficient Economy.

Things here have been crazy busy lately. Everytime I think things are going to settle down we just get busier. We are busy working on Ben’s campaignplus trying to attend family functions and other summer parties. It’s just crazy.
The whole campaign thing is still so new to me. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just not a meeting person. After about an hour, I start getting impatient and can’t stand sitting any longer. So this experience will probably better prepare me for the real world which seems to be full of meetings. Other than the meetings, everything else is pretty exciting. My sister Jodi did a wonderful job designing Ben’s website. I am so impressed by how good it looks.

In other news…I’ve made the Dean’s List for the Spring Trimester. Ben is going to publish it in the paper this time! I hate the thought of it being in the paper but I promised him if I made it again he could publish it!
