Bob Barker is retiring in June. I need to get to The Price Is Right! A $5,000 scholarship for Ben would help us free up some money for a quickie vaction to TPIR. So, if you haven't already voted for him, please do so here.

Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever seen a ghost?
Submitted by Nancy.
I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts. Tracy and Jaycie both believe they have seen a ghost. I probably could be convinced either way depending on my mood.
What's your sign? What do you think of astrology and horoscopes?
Capricorn. I cared a lot more when I was younger. I think of astrology and horoscopes much in the same way I think of religion. It feeds a need for people. Whether it is true matters little because it can make people feel better.
In an effort to avoid working on my literature review, I decided to sign, stuff, and seal all my Holiday cards. I still have to address them but I figure that can wait. Like a good student, Ben is diligently reading and taking notes for his Humans Developing class while sitting next to me on the couch. He doesn't say anything, but I know he thinks I should be writing my lit review. I did manage to write almost 7 er, 6 pages today, but was easily distracted by text messaging with Troy. The topic of said review is the effect of cost sharing programs on people living with HIV/AIDS. The topic itself is interesting, but I don't feel good about my literature which is probably why I am procrastinating. Either that or I just really hate my graduate program and don't care about the homework. Ugh!
What did you think you would never ever do… but did?

Became a member of freakin' myspace. I wanted to view some pictures and you have to be a member to do it, so I had to register. Myspace completely freaks me out. It's like a train wreck. I can't stop watching. I can't get over all the "sexy" pictures. Is this really how people hook up these days? My cousins, who are brother and sister, are on there and use the comments like text messages, like they can't talk on the phone. There are some people on there from high school too, but they at least appear to be relatively normal. The whole thing is crazy to me. I know I must be too old to get it.
Do you remember your first flight? Where did you go? Why?
Submitted by Laurel.
My first flight was Minneapolis to Las Vegas. I went with my Mom, Aunt and Uncle. Jaycie was about 4 months old so I was so nervous about getting on the plane and leaving. I still can't believe I actually went. Anyway, the flight itself was uneventful for a Vegas flight. They still served meals at the time so I got to eat lasagna. The meal itself wasn't bad but it wasn't good either although the cookies were delicious. My Uncle made me laugh the whole time which kept my mind off of everything. When the plane landed everyone clapped which I thought was funny. My Mom and Aunt told me it was because the landing was so smooth. I didn't know the difference in landing until I flew out to New York.
Today is Max's Birthday! Wow–8 years old.
