The gift gods are smiling down on me today. I had to wait for the last minute to purchase ALL my Christmas gifts, so the frantic rush began last night. I have a book in mind for Ben's Mom but it's sold out in every bookstore in the area. So, I started checking the bookstores in our home town since we'd be heading there on Saturday and it paid off. The book is there and they are holding it for me until Saturday. I'm so relieved. Now, I just hope she likes it. I will continue doing some of my shopping this afternoon, but the bulk of it will be done tomorrow. Ben and I are going to get Jaycie and Max's gifts during his lunch hour on Friday and then we'll do IKEA and MOA tomorrow night. The rush is fun, but I am a little stressed.
What are your top 5 books of 2006?
I haven't read nearly as many books in 2006 as I normally do. It must have to do with the extraordinary amount of reading in my classes. However, I did manage to read these 5 great books–mostly from book club.
I’m mostly over here now.
Where do you do your online shopping?
Amazon, Threadless, ebay, and then I sometimes shop the "normal stores" like Gap and such. However, I hate paying for shipping if I can pick it up in store, so I tend to browse the "normal stores" online and then purchase at the store.
