I was just flipping through the channels and the Miss Universe pageant is on NBC. When they introduced Miss USA, she was walking and then fell on her ass. Oh my god. I had to rewind it to see it in all it's glory. Too funny. How embarrassing for her. She was proud though. She got up and kept smiling. Oh the strength. She should win purely for that show of face.
Fed up station owner shuts off gas pumps
This story makes me laugh. People are complaining about high gas prices, but apparently don’t understand the basic concept of supply and demand. We need to decrease our overall usage and dependence. Driving an SUV 100 miles a day is not going to help.
Maria McClory, 38, drove 10 miles out of her way to buy a diet soda from Pollack’s station after seeing local television coverage of the protest. 10 miles out of her way just for diet soda. Does that even make sense?
“I just wanted to support them and thank them for making a statement,” said McClory, who drives about 100 miles a day for work in her sport utility vehicle. Duh! What’s the problem here?
Schwartz called that “outrageous” and said even he can’t fill up his SUV at that price.
“If it keeps going like this, my kids will never be able to afford to drive,” said Schwartz, who has an 18-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter.
Doc Martens fires the ad agency responsible for these ads. The agency is sticking by the campaign. I don't find them offensive. Do you?

"Maybe" because it always mean no. I catch myself doing the same thing all the time because it is easier to say "maybe" rather than straight out saying no.

I think I'm officially the book club lush. Out of 20 book club meetings we've had, I've probably been sober for about 5 of them. I don't intend to get drunk each time. I really try to limit what I drink, but the wine (and tequila) sneaks up on me. I go from sober and rational to drunk without even realizing it. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's really difficult to have an intelligent conversation about a book when I am slurring my words. Even more, it's on a Sunday, so I end with a hang over for work on Monday. Ugh. It's going to be a rough day.

How many times do you usually re-edit posts? What is the most common reason for doing so?

I don't usually re-edit my posts very often. If I do, it's usually because of a spelling error or omitted/extra words.
(p.s. I've actually re-edited this post twice)
